DIOS WALNUT
On the opposite end of the tonal spectrum lies Dios Walnut, where mids and lows are the element of emphasis. Though this gorgeous wood is also dense and heavy, it resonates with thunderous enormity in the lower register, and seems to almost expand with every stroke. However, its hardwood characteristics allow for brightness in the voicing that is not attainable with standard Maple or Birch, making it the perfect drum for recording. Without exception, this is a drum that will surprise even the most finicky percussion connoisseur.
