What is special about Soundcaster Custom rides?
All Soundcaster Custom cymbals are made from a B12 bronze alloy. This means its content of tin is higher than in B8 bronze, giving them a warmer and slightly darker tone. The Soundcaster Custom ride cymbals benefit from that fact and offer excellent dynamics along with a strong stick definition. Enhanced Soundcaster Custom rides are high-polished cymbals, which produce a brilliant and bright sound.
What is unique about the Soundcaster Custom Mega Bell Ride?
The 22" Soundcaster Custom Mega Bell Ride is hammered from a premium B12 bronze alloy and its surface is high-polished. The cymbal features an exceptionally wide and huge bell with a loud, penetrating, and sharp ping sound which has been designed to meet all the requirements for Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Rock Music. Furthermore, the mega bell has been forged out of the bronze sheet by a special pressing process through which its fundamental pitch and tone can be determined exactly. The Soundcaster Custom Mega Bell Ride doesn't build up and has no wash which makes it the preferred ride cymbal for drummers who need a clear, cutting ping in a loud musical environment.

The MEINL Soundcaster Custom china cymbal is extensively hammered and has a widespread round edge which makes it feel very smooth when hit, unfolding a rich and explosive tone.
